Fjord og Fjellruta is a new summer bus route that makes it easier to explore fjords, mountains, villages and outdoor experiences between Vang, Årdal, Lærdal and Aurland – without depending on a car.

For guests staying at Klingenberg Resort, the route offers easy access to some of the most spectacular scenery in Western Norway. The bus stops directly outside Klingenberg Hotel in Årdalstangen and connects experiences between Jotunheimen National Park and the Sognefjord.
The route is specially designed for visiting guests who want to head out on adventures after breakfast and return again in the afternoon. This makes it ideal for day trips, hiking, cycling and round trips throughout the region.
From Øvre Årdal Bus Station, the route also connects with the Tindevegen bus towards Hjelle and Turtagrø:
• Connection to Hjelle: 08:40
• Connection to Turtagrø: 09:20
The Vy bus route can also be combined with other bus connections from Oslo, Bergen and Sogndal, making it easier to plan a complete journey through the fjord and mountain landscape using public transport.
It is possible to bring bikes, dogs and luggage on board, subject to available capacity. Tickets should be booked in advance through Vy.
Season 2026: 1 July – 31 August

Highlights in Vettisriket
To celebrate Norrøna’s 90th anniversary, we welcomed their team and eight (8) loyalty members to Vetti Farm.
A hike in the valley of Utladalen, with Hjelle at a starting point, gives you the best dramatic experiences Norwegian nature offers.
Vettisriket gives you four experiences in Indre Sogn that are well worth a detour. These experiences offer a greater wow factor.
